A buddy let me in on customizing one of a bunch of vinyl Vaders for a toy company he is working with.
I don't want to do it again. I suck at painting on 3-D stuff.
I had fun though.
Tough to make it look "raw and unfinished" looking with it looking.....well.....raw and unfinished. LOL!

Thank you, I had never painted a vinyl before and was kinda lost the whole way lol!
A buddy who works for Sideshow Collectibles asked me and a few friends to do whatever we wanted to the Vaders he got for an auction display for San Diego Comic Con this past summer. I got a kick out of seeing what others did with their Vaders.

Total rush job considering I was given the thing 4 months ago and chose 3 days to deadline to finish the damn thing. UNinspired.
And of course the very same night I was sending it off, suddenly I got all these different ideas of what I SHOULD have done to it.
Lame......
Better to have made the deadline than NOT though.

That follows one of my Golden rules. When meeting with a client or facing a deadline.."it's always better to have something rather than nothing". Even if you send something you are not happy with. The client would rather give their two cents on a piece of shit than zero comments on nothing.

I'm going to have to blog my Golden Rules.
